She will tell us about her creative journey, with emphasis on the way that participating in challenges has helped her to find her voice in her work. Keep a smile on your face and enjoy a trunk show of her challenge quilts - plus a couple of surprises.

Quilters for Others: July 28th at St James August 5th at the Town Hall August 25th at St James
The purpose of this workshop is to explore the wide variety of borders that can enhance your quilt. Borders are the hidden factor in creating a pleasing quilt.
This class is different from most workshops. Viewing quilts, we will discuss many different borders, how to make them and how to decide which border is best for what quilt. The discussion will also include how to figure the correct size, design and color. Students are encouraged to bring quilt tops that need borders so that the class can discuss various options. Students will then work on borders for their own quilt or make samples of the many new borders in the workbook.
Each student will receive a black and white copy of Lujean's Border Workbook. (Full color workbook is available for $20)
