Making Amazing Quilts by Using Value as a Key Ingredient
Our February speaker is Grace Errea. She is known for her beautiful art quilts, one of which took 1st place at Road To California in 2010. With her background in art, she creates her quilts using color value as the main technique. In her workshops, she helps quilters learn how to use value in creating their own art quilts. As Rita has always said, color gets all of the credit but value does all the work. Grace uses that very same phrase in describing how to create beautiful art quilts. She comes to us from Laguna Hills in lovely southern Orange County.
